Facilities Manager - Monongahela Valley Association of Health Centers

About the Job
MVA Health Centers Inc. is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager. The following candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Supervision of facilities' staff, including scheduling and payroll approval
- Correspond professionally with potential and current vendors
- Preserving the condition of the infrastructure
- Ensure facility is safe and well-functioning
- Planning maintenance work
- Proactively identifying and correcting potential safety concerns or hazards
- Maintaining preventative maintenance schedule
- Delegating cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to staff
- Supervises work assignments in the operations of the facilities management department
- Utilize various software systems to maintain equipment and supplies
- Maintaining the grounds maintenance of the exterior of the facility
Qualifications for facility manager:
High School Diploma or GED required
A minimum of two (2) plus years experience in proven facility management involving:
- Personnel Management
- Working with custodial equipment, chemicals, and procedures
- Knowledge of computers and software programs
- Ability to interpret safety codes, electrical codes, etc.
Advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills
Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Leadership and problem-solving skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Must have problem-solving skills
Requirements:
Valid WV driver's license
Able to stand, lift (50 pounds or greater), carry, bend, and stoop daily
