Facilities Manager - Monongahela Valley Association of Health Centers

MVA Health Centers Inc. is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager. The following candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Routine maintenance and safety inspections
• Supervision of facilities' staff, including scheduling and payroll approval
• Correspond professionally with potential and current vendors
• Preserving the condition of the infrastructure
• Ensure facility is safe and well-functioning
• Planning maintenance work
• Proactively identifying and correcting potential safety concerns or hazards
• Maintaining preventative maintenance schedule
• Delegating cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to staff
• Supervises work assignments in the operations of the facilities management department
• Utilize various software systems to maintain equipment and supplies
• Maintaining the grounds maintenance of the exterior of the facility
  
  

Qualifications for facility manager:

High School Diploma or GED required

A minimum of two (2) plus years experience in proven facility management involving:

• Personnel Management
• Working with custodial equipment, chemicals, and procedures
• Knowledge of computers and software programs
• Ability to interpret safety codes, electrical codes, etc.

Advanced mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills

Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Leadership and problem-solving skills

Effective written and oral communication skills

Must have problem-solving skills

Requirements:

Valid WV driver's license

Able to stand, lift (50 pounds or greater), carry, bend, and stoop daily
