We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of a private oceanfront estate in Gulf Stream, Florida
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the estate's facilities, grounds, and systems are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring a safe, secure, and pristine environment for the principal and their guests.

This is a full-time, live-out position that requires a high level of commitment and discretion

Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the estate, including the main residence, guest houses, outbuildings, and all outdoor areas
Ensure that all systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are in optimal working condition. - Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to ensure the longevity and functionality of all estate facilities and equipment.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including landscapers, pool technicians, security personnel, and other service providers
Ensure that all work is performed to a high standard and within budget. - Project Management: Oversee any renovation, repair, or improvement projects on the property
This includes coordinating timelines, budgets, and ensuring the quality of work meets the estate's standards. - Safety and Security: Ensure the estate complies with all safety regulations and security protocols
Regularly inspect the property for potential safety hazards and address any issues promptly. - Grounds and Landscaping: Supervise the maintenance of the estate's extensive grounds, including lawns, gardens, pool areas, and beachfront
Ensure that all outdoor spaces are kept in pristine condition year-round. - Budget Management: Work with the Estate Manager to prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring that all expenditures are tracked and that the estate operates within financial guidelines.
- Inventory and Supplies: Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment
Ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked and that equipment is in good working order. - Staff Supervision: Oversee a team of maintenance and grounds staff, providing leadership, training, and support
Ensure that all staff are performing their duties effectively and efficiently. - Emergency Response: Be available to respond to any emergencies or urgent maintenance issues that may arise, including during off-hours as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, preferably within a private estate or luxury property setting.
- Strong knowledge of property systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and a facilities budget.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Flexibility to be on call for emergencies and respond to urgent situations as needed.
- Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, and grounds maintenance is a plus.
- Valid driver's license
- Valid US work authorization
