JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the site facility tasks. Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and presentable environment for staff and patients. Oversees the day-to-day management of all maintenance and repair and onsite safety compliance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervises and plans work schedules; selects, trains and monitors work performance of assigned personnel; performance appraisals for personnel in assigned division.
- Schedules and conducts training and safety meetings for assigned personnel.
- Supervises and manages janitorial services, maintenance, repair, cleaning, and replacement of facilities equipment/inventory by insuring a clean and safe facilities.
- Performs a variety of operational safety tests and adjusts operating equipment and methods to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Determines and recommends equipment, materials, safety needs, devices, and/or equipment for assigned operation, maintenance, and improvement projects.
- Inspects and evaluates work in progress and upon completion.
- Reads and interprets maps, diagrams, schematics, contracts, and work orders.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems and plans and implements efficient and effective solutions.
- Maintains inventory and restocking of clinical, medical, office, and janitorial supplies; reorders to par levels as needed, including staff breakroom and refrigerators.
- Over see all Shipping/receiving of bulk shipments and makes available to operational staff.
- Coordinates and prepares for onsite events and tours.
- Assist with the management of employee timekeeping and submittals
- Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
- Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve facilities issues.
- Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Oversees and reports any findings regarding environmental services/janitorial, patient nutrition, biowaste, etc.
- Organizing office equipment, tools, and all inventory.
- Conducts monthly facility inspections and monthly drills to ensure all health and safety items are being addressed and site is compliant with regulatory entities such as OSHA and CARF.
- Act as safety liaison between the site and the compliance/HR teams for reporting incident reports and conduct site accident investigations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Will attend supervision sessions as required.
- Will complete all other required trainings as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona Driver's license in good standing
- Must have a Level One fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one
- Must be 21 years of age
- 3-5 years of experience in business administration and/or office management
- Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations related to health, safety, and sanitation of the healthcare facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in General Business or similar studies
- OSHA Certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
