Facilities Mechanic - Coherent Corp.

• Installation, operation, repair and maintenance of building support systems such as:
• Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC
• Chilled water maintenance, pump maintenance and repair
• Generator exercise and monitoring
• Compressors and distribution equipment
• Vacuum pumps
• Building control systems
• De-ionized water production equipment
• Emergency Response Team member
• Bulk solvent delivery systems
• Routine monitoring of equipment performance via checklists and other methods of data collection
• Handling, sorting, and disposal of solid and liquid chemical wastes generated in a Wafer fabrication facility

• Office furniture installations, reconfigurations, and removal
• Painting and wall repairs
• Picture and display hanging
• Parking lot maintenance (Salting, light plowing)
• Employee assistance
• Cafeteria facilities support
• Equipment and production area moves
• Laboratory fabrication and modification

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of directly applicable experience
• Clean room facility maintenance background is a plus
• Computer literate
• Valid Driver's License required

• Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.

• Building maintenance

• able to lift at least 50 lbs

This position is also responsible for the general maintenance and repair of office environments and the associated support equipment.
