Federal Reserve Bank of St. LouisWe are looking for a Facilities Project Manager to join our team in managing the design and construction of commercial office building renovation projects for all facilities located in the St. Louis District. Reporting to a Manager, you will bring an understanding of project management and commercial office building construction practices. As an owner representative, you will help maintain our facilities in top condition by delivering an excellent customer experience to internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Manage mid to long term construction projects of different scales. Up to 8 simultaneous projects equivalent to $8MM-$10MM per year.
- Lead all aspects of construction projects throughout the project life cycle. Including project planning, design, procurement, lead generation, execution, monitoring, controlling, site visits and project closeout.
- Create project charters and project plans, review contracts, change orders and invoices for completeness, accuracy and required documentation.
- Establish rapport with peers, project team and key stakeholders.
- Perform cost estimating and budget development using market-based pricing, historical costs and vendor pricing.
- Lead project team in resolving project issues, balancing costs, schedule and scope as project drivers dictate.
- Communicate with management, project team, key stakeholders and vendors during regular project meetings or conference calls.
- Advise management on perceived risks to successful completion of the project and obtain decisions and approvals from management on changes to scope, schedule and cost.
- Proactively create and assist with continuous process improvement by creating tools, resources and standards utilized by the entire team.
- Assist with training and guidance of other PM staff (indirect)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering or a related field or commensurate experience
- 5 years of Project Management experience in the commercial construction industry and familiarity with a combination of the following:
- Building Codes
- HVAC Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Fire. Life Safety Systems
- Plumbing Systems
- Roofing and Paving
- PMP Certification, Six Sigma certification, PE or AIA license
- Working knowledge of MS Project and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
- Analyze, prioritize, problem solve and work several tasks concurrently
- Travel (Up to 50%)
- Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade or salary.
Salary: $100,000 to $120,000
