**Base Pay: Starting at $21.42 per hour**
We seek a skilled and dedicated full-time Facilities Tech I to join our facilities team. As a Facilities Tech I, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the living environment for our residents. The position hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM—3:30 PM, with some on-call hours.
This position performs repairs and maintenance duties in all buildings, including preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems. Maintains grounds, performing seasonal responsibilities as directed. Drives 12-passenger van as needed. Possesses specific skill set/experience that provides a broader area of expertise (i.e. carpentry, grounds, mechanical, painting, team leader, etc.).

**Job Description:**
As a Facilities Technician I, you will perform repairs and maintenance duties in all buildings, including preventive maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems. You will also maintain the grounds, performing seasonal responsibilities as directed. A diverse skill set in areas such as carpentry, groundskeeping, mechanical work, painting, and leadership is highly valued.
**Knowledge and Abilities:**
- General working knowledge of various electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and general carpentry skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Strong communication skills with individuals of all ages, particularly the geriatric population.
- A valid NH driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
**Qualifications:**
- A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of related experience are required.
- Graduate of a technical school with a minimum of two years of related experience is preferred.
- Must possess general working knowledge of various electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and general carpentry skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- A valid NH driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
