About the Job
Certifications and/or Licenses:
Driver’s license, as well as satisfactory driving record as outlined in The Trustees driving policy
Satisfactory criminal background check
Massachusetts Hoisting License – 2A (preferred) or willingness to obtain
OSHA 10 Hour General Industry (preferred) or willingness to obtain
CPR/First Aid & AED
Qualifications:
1-3 years of professional experience in property maintenance, landscaping, facilities management, a building trade, mechanics, or other experience related to the position.
Experience maintaining cultural/historic buildings and is a plus.
The ability to work independently, unsupervised, complete assigned tasks and projects, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks with a focus on detail orientated work
Basic computer skills and ability to keep good records, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
A positive attitude, willingness to be flexible, and a commitment to achieving the goals of The Trustees.
This position performs tasks across a broad range of specialized disciplines, so a willingness to learn new skills both on own and under the guidance from specialist teams to meet the day to day demands of the job is a must

High regard for teamwork, collegiality, customer service and visitor experience.
Strong collaboration skills across properties and with teams across the organization
Comfort level managing vendors and contractors to support buildings systems
Strong communicator who is comfortable with dotted line reporting
Comfort and ability representing the organization and the property to the public
Comfort working on extension ladders and staging
Mid-level carpentry, painting, and finish work skills
Basic HVAC, plumbing, electric, and other hands on skills
