Facilities Technician (maintenance) at Micro Tech

Responsible for performing the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the facility to provide a safe, clean and secure working environment.  Coordinate and perform day-to-day work orders. Help maintain overall cleanliness of facility. Implement good housekeeping practices throughout the facility and oversee the corporate housekeeping program. Ensure that janitorial supplies are well stocked in all areas throughout the facility. Perform line and office moves as required. Responsible for repair and maintenance of basic equipment Perform monthly inspections of Fire extinguishers, compressors and other items. Ensure haz-mat storage area is kept organized and properly labeled.  Perform basic grounds duties as needed (shoveling and salting of entranceways to maintain safety) pick up loose debris as needed.

High School Diploma or equivalent education.  2-4 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. A background in Facilities/Maintenance and has knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC and painting. Able to troubleshoot, assess and implement solutions. Self-starter, reliable and able to perform duties with little or no supervision.
