Facility Attendant - Whittier Rehab Hospital - Bradford
Full-Time, Day Shift 40 hours/week
Shifts: 6:00a - 2:30p, every other weekend & holiday
Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL:

ESSENTIAL:
- Cleaning of assigned patient rooms and bathrooms according to Infection Control standards.
- Cleaning of nurses stations, public bathrooms, Lounges, nourishment areas and storage closets, windows, etc.
- Cleaning of all patient care areas, hallways, lobby and office spaces.
- Must be able to perform varied cleaning projects that will be assigned by their immediate supervisor.
- Will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment within the department .
- Perform floor care duties such as dry mopping, wet mopping, buffing and vacuuming.
- Trash removal including use of trash compactor.
- Code Red Response Team member including retrieval of fire extinguisher.
- Upkeep of exterior of building including smoke receptacles.
- Adheres to the policies adopted by this hospital.
- Complies with all hospital safety and health regulations.
- Treats patients, their families, visitors, and other staff members with respect, courtesy and compassion.
- Demonstrates teamwork by possessing a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude, and by the ability to work openly and honestly with other staff members with flexibility, support, and cooperation.

- May assist maintenance department in moving objects of furniture/equipment.
- May be requested to assist in hospital areas as assigned by supervisor.

- Knowledge of growth and development across the life span
- Previous health care housekeeping experience preferred. Must possess visual acuity for cleanliness
