As a team member in our Security Department we offer a competitive wage of $14.00 based upon experience and in addition to your hourly rate we offer:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Building Systems
- Mechanical Systems
- Environmental (Building Conditions)
- Life Safety
- Report unusual occurrences
- Monitoring Surveillance Systems
- Inform supervisor and building operations technicians of any malfunctioning equipment or control problems
- Documentation, on a daily basis, including work orders, trouble calls, logs and miscellaneous forms
- Answering numerous phone calls
- Tenant request
- Elevator Trouble calls
- Building Operations Switchboard
- Security Issues
- Constant Radio Communication with all departments
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- A knowledge of building systems
- An ability to handle pressure
- Excellent customer relations
- Ability to work without immediate supervision
- Ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding and knowledge of Windows based computer systems
Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information.
Ability to listen effectively, speak, read and write English clearly to ascertain and document important information.
Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift.
Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
Ability to follow written and or verbal instructions.
Ability to work shifts as assigned
Required Experience:
The individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Requires clear, concise verbal communication using two-way radios. 8 weeks training on building operations and procedures
