We're Hiring!
Looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician. The Facility Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Performs lawn and gardening duties project wide.
+ Performs small concrete repairs on sidewalks and plant roadways.
+ Maintains all buildings including remodels, painting interior and exterior.
+ Small construction projects. Including carpentry, flooring, cabinet installation and plumbing.
+ Fulfills all safety requirements.
+ Completes and files all necessary paperwork.
+ Other duties as assigned.
+ Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.
+ /Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Weekends/On-Call as Needed
_Education/Experience_ : High ScValid Driver’s License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments): SCBA, Confined Space(90 days), Confined Space Rescue(1 Year), Forklift Operator(90 Days), Rigging, Metal Cutting, Skill Assessment rating of 25%, Class D wastewater license(1 Year), MX tech 1 Certification (1 year)
_Licenses/Certifications_ :
_Technical_ : Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.
_Communication_ : Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Willing to help others. Maintains composure in challenging situations.
_Problem Solving & Quality_ : Pays attention to detail. Identifies & solves problems. Escalates issues accordingly. Checks work for quality.
_Managing For Results_ : Works well with supervision. Takes projects to completion. Follows all company policies & SOPs. Manages multiple tasks.
_Leadership & Initiative_ : Demonstrates a positive attitude. Acts in accordance with company vision, mission & values. Takes accountability for own performance. Willing to take on additional assignments.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to: frequently lift 50-80 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
