Kett Engineering is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician III to join our team at an automotive testing site in Maricopa, AZ
Role Summary:
Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, the Facilities Maintenance Technician III - Electrician performs routine and complex facility maintenance tasks and duties. The position will troubleshoot and repair electrically powered equipment and systems including electrical vehicle charging station, all building electrical systems, communication, alarm, and service subsystems. The role also actively promotes the company's vision of integrity and compliance and leads their respective team with these company principles.
Role Responsibilities:
Facility Electrical Maintenance 100%
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems of facility buildings and structures, to include motors and controls for the water supply, HVAC systems, lighting, communications, and alarms.
Develop and perform routine and preventative maintenance procedures on all electrical systems and subsystems facility-wide.
Assist with planning, scheduling, and selecting necessary equipment and related supplies to complete projects.
Perform complex electrical troubleshooting, repair and construction as required.
Perform complex general building maintenance and repairs tasks.
Repair and test equipment to assure satisfactory repair and performance.
Work from ladders, lifts, elevated places as required.
Submit requisitions for repair / replacement parts as necessary.
Keep equipment, maintenance shop and job sites clean and in orderly condition.
Using CMMS system document daily work completed, report job outcomes, and supplies used.
Other miscellaneous proving ground maintenance tasks as assigned.

Specialized Skills Required:
AZ Electrical Journeyman's License AZ
Knowledge of Facility Electrical Infrastructure
Deep knowledge and understanding of PLC controllers.
Use knowledge of and experience with commonly used electrical practices including, but not limited to, lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Desired:
Knowledge of NFPA 70E
OSHA 30
Knowledge of Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure and chargers (ABB, Tritium, GB/T).
Years of Experience:
3 years of experience as Electrician in an industrial/facilities capacity
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired: Associates Degree in Building Maintenance or equivalent
Work Flexibility:
Domestic travel (average 2-3 times per year) required for business and training.
Work schedule based on business requirements (minimum 40 hours/week) including occasional Saturday and occasional overtime. Core work hours are 8AM 5PM.
Flexibility in schedule required due to unexpected changes and to meet deadlines.
Often driving a motor vehicle, including performance class and prototypes, and complete special training as required.
Commonly sit at a desk or table.
Occasionally walk, stand, or stoop.
Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
