Facility Maintenance Technician - Green Cubes Technology

Green Cubes Technology is seeking a detail-oriented, and responsible Facility Maintenance Technician who will perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete small repairs on building and equipment. Their duties include, fixing machinery, plumbing, inspecting building to confirm safety standards, and identifying major repairs.

The position will be based out of our Kokomo, Indiana site which is responsible for the manufacturing of large motive power lithium-ion battery systems.

This position would report directly to the Plant Manager.

As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Perform general upkeep and minor repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair broken assets.
• Keep hand tools, power tools, and supplies organized and clean.
• Perform general machine maintenance.
• Maintain building systems.
• Maintain accurate records of performed maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety precautions and adhere to the set schedule.

The right candidate should possess:

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including forklift and small hand tools.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

 A step ahead, but not required:

• Welding and metal fabricating experience.
