Job DescriptionThe Central Kitchen Facility Manager is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of a food production facility. The manager will create production schedules and set delivery times as well as ensure the product quality, equipment and facility maintenance as well as oversee team members to maximize productivity at the facility. This position will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Create a culture that promotes food safety and health standards as a top priority
• Drive continuous improvement through management of all supervisors to optimize production efficiency
• Monitor, and update all facility processes and procedures
• Perform food-safety related practices including keeping accurate logs
• Identify what resources are required for the operation and communicate appropriately
• Knowledge and experience implementing company policies, such as written corrective actions, discipline warnings, performance reviews, as well as terminations of employees
o Responsible for development, training and coaching of supervisors and staff, goal setting, and providing performance feedback on a regular basis
• Responsible for arranging vendor equipment repairs and maintenance
• Cross functional communications among departments of any issues or changes in the operational goals
• Complete all required documentation such as new hire paperwork, FMLA, and Worker’s compensation including OSHA
• Must gain a clear understanding of the Company’s corporate mission, philosophy, and overall business operations; Communicate optimism and confidence in the future direction of the company

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience working in manufacturing, kitchen management, or food production facility
• Certified/trained in OSHA, FDA, USDA regulations
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written in English; willingness to lead and work as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize efficiently and delegate responsibilities
• Background in training of team members and giving positive/critical feedback
• Effective time management skills, strong organizational skills and available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the business
