RiverTech is looking for an Industrial Security Specialist III responsible for conducting daily security functions to ensure the protection of government assets in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Responsibilities
+ Assists Federal staff to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Implement existing security directives, makes recommendations to resolve unique and complex security problems by coordinating with senior security specialists to include solutions and follow-up written communications.
+ Conducts reviews and provide recommendations for approval of the contracting checklist required for all classified contracts.
+ Tracks trend data, drafts reports, and produces incident reports if violations occur.
+ Expert knowledge or awareness and adherence to government policies or regulations governing security suitability and eligibility, such as Federal Investigative Standards (FIS), Executive Orders (E.O.) 12968, 13526, and 10450, Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704 or other guidelines to make the appropriate adjudication recommendations.
+ Expert knowledge of NISPOM, and DHS/CISA security standards
+ Knowledge of the DD Form 254 Lifecycle, to include reviewing, drafting the form and requesting approval.
+ Expert knowledge of the National Interest Determination and Foreign Ownership Control and Influence evaluation
+ Understanding of the advancements in the areas of National Security, Critical Infrastructure protection, interagency security, industrial, personnel and system security.
Qualifications
+ An active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for consideration
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
+ Must have 4 years of work experience in industrial security administration.
+ Must have excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, etc., excellent written and oral communication, risk-management and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands:
+ Work is performed in an office environment.
+ Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
+ Required to use a computer throughout the work.
