JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
The basic job function is to maintain the building, performing routine duties as follows.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Requires a High School diploma and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience with trade school training preferred.
2. Requires a general mechanical aptitude with a strong interest to enhance skills.
3. Experience working with/on Industrial equipment.
4. Individual must be comfortable around moving parts and production machinery.
5. The senses of sight, speech (English), and hearing are required. The physical requirements are sitting or standing the majority of the time in a manufacturing environment. Lifting of articles to a storage location (40 pounds), twisting, bending, stooping, and the flexing of the fingers, hands and wrists in working with the PC are required.
6. Must be able to understand technical instructions and work independently with minimum
supervision. Individual must demonstrate the ability to recognize and solve equipment malfunctions.
7. Handling, dispensing, and containing hazardous materials (DeOx, Nitric Acid, EP solution).
8. Demonstrate and understand the basic electrical skills including:
a. 3 phase electric power.
b. Single phase electric power.
c. Understand safety requirements for 110, 208, and 480 volt electric power.
9. Demonstrate and understand the basic plumbing skills including:
a. Assemble and install PVC, copper and steel pipe and stainless steel pipe for water, air, gas, and other chemicals.
10. Demonstrate and understand the basic pneumatic and hydraulic systems including:
a. Basic principles of pumps, cylinders, flow regulators, check valves and storage systems.
b. Trouble shoot pneumatic and hydraulic component.
c. Read pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
11. Demonstrate the understanding of basic machine components, functions, and maintenance of the following:
a. HMI screen
b. Ball bearing, needle bearing, tapered roller bearing, flange bearing ball screws, rails, pillow
blocks
12. Responsibility for maintaining a work area compliant with 6S requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS
1. The majority of the time will be spent in a plant environment with moderate noise, clean, and temperature controlled environment.
2. Over time will be required based on work load.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Requires a working knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment used on a daily basis.
2. Provide problem resolution for machines and facilities systems.
3. Complete and resolve all work orders given in a safe and timely manner.
4. Oversee contractors working in the plant to insure safety.
5. Handling, dispensing, and containing hazardous materials (DeOx, Nitric Acid, EP solution).
6. Responsible to work safely and take action to prevent accidents and injuries
