Location:
Womack Group is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Boston, MA facility.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and sales support in safety and sensors
• Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new accounts
• Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year
• Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications in safety and sensors
• Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market
• Provide training to sales staff relative to applications and products in safety and sensors
• Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skills and/or abilities required. An individual must meet the minimum requirements as listed in each Qualifications subsection.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in safety and sensor
EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years industry experience in safety and sensor
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Ability to select Safety scanners, detective sensors, distance sensors, machine vision and Motion control sensors for various Industrial Automation applications
• Self-motivation
• Excellent customer relations/sales skills
• Industrial application problem solving capabilities
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions
• Mechanically inclined mindset
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is sedentary. Typically the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some movement from area to area, transporting of items such as a laptop computer, printers, servers, paper, books, and small parts; driving an automobile, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to general office environment. Overnight travel may be required, but seldom; work outside normal business hours is required from time to time.
