Description:
The Factory Computer Operator will report directly to the Plant Manager and be responsible for running a complete batching system via the PLC operating system. This is a hands-on position and will require basic factory labor ability, among other skills. Responsibilities include:
- Operating the computer software system responsible for production and coordinating blending materials
- Ensuring continuity in production by adhering to production schedule
- Correcting any unanticipated issues and increasing production efficiency
- Coordinating with Plant Manager, Maintenance Mechanic, and plant workers to smoothly transition the material through the production line
- Organize the products to be managed in the production line
- Performing in a fast-paced environment while maintaining production quality
- Adhering to the safety and quality control regulations established by Plant Manager
Qualifications:
- High school degree required
- Responsible and professional with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Takes pride in work and possesses attention to detail
- Has good diagnostic abilities to troubleshoot issues
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
