Concordia University Wisconsin is seeking to fill a 75%, twelve month renewable, faculty position in our exceptional Physical Therapy Program. We are looking for candidates who have a terminal academic doctoral degree (e.g. PhD or DHS) or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). ABPTS certification and/or advanced master's degree as well as those candidates nearing the completion of a doctorate program (ABD) will also be considered. The desired start date is Summer, 2016.
Teaching to be assigned based on area of expertise in theory and clinical courses. Desired areas of expertise: clinical education, musculoskeletal physical therapy, general clinical skills, and therapeutic exercise; however, expertise in other areas of physical therapy will be considered.
Position Requirements:
• Terminal degree must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Graduation from a CAPTE approved physical therapy education program
• Eligibility for and/or intention to obtain a Wisconsin physical therapy license with the expectation for ongoing engagement in clinical practice and/or clinical research
• Experience as a successful clinical educator
• A record of involvement within the professional physical therapy community
• Ability to function well within a collegial, collaborative work environment
• Minimum 3 years full time post licensure clinical practice
Compensation and Benefits
This is a 75%, faculty, exempt position. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until successful candidate(s) are identified. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
