Job Details
Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients throughout all stages of their cases
- Draft pre/post-marital agreements
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality service for all clients
- Stay current with California family law developments and best practices
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law in California
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Bonus for mediation training/experience
