Family Law Attorney
Join an established law firm known for excellence in family law. This firm is seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney to become a key member of their team, offering the opportunity to grow alongside some of the area's top legal practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse caseload
- Draft and respond to legal correspondence and pleadings
- Prepare financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
- Conduct discovery and respond to discovery requests
- Engage in client, opposing counsel, and court communications
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare witness questions for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Track and report billable hours (1850 annually)
- Support supervising attorneys in all practice phases
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Arkansas State Bar
- Must possess a J.D. degree
- 3+ years of experience in family law
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Empathetic and composed demeanor for handling sensitive matters
- Excellent writing, legal research, and proofreading skills
- Keen attention to detail
