Job Description:
A well-regarded law firm, with several attorneys recognized for excellence in their field, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its team. The firm practices primarily in family law, offering a supportive environment with a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, and support matters.
- Provide guidance on family law issues, including negotiations, settlements, and litigation.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and conferences.
- Manage a billable requirement of 1,700 hours per year.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire.
- Experience in family law.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work both independently and collaboratively.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary of $150,000+ (depending on experience) with additional bonuses.
