Job Posting: Experienced Family Law Paralegal

Location: Cincinnati, OH & Northern Kentucky

Position Type: Full Time, In-Office - Salaried Position

Role Summary: The Paralegal will work closely with an attorney in the Cincinnati Metro Area, supporting clients in line with our core values and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and court orders
• Correspond with clients and prepare spreadsheets/documents for Inventory and Appraisement and Proposed Support Decision
• File pleadings with court clerks
• Coordinate delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties
• Conduct intake calls with potential new clients and prepare attorneys for initial consultations (sales experience appreciated)
• Assist attorneys with mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences
• Draft discovery requests, calendar due dates, and prepare correspondence to opposing counsel/parties
• Help clients comply with discovery requests and compile requested documents

Job Requirements:

• 3+ Years of Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience
• Must be able to conduct interviews with families as needed.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Ability to learn and utilize new software, technology, billing systems, and techniques
• Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Education and Certification:

• Paralegal certificate or certification preferred but not required
