Title: Family Law Paralegal

• We are seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join our Litigation Practice Group located at our historic headquarters building in Manchester, New Hampshire.

  This position will work with a high-performing team of lawyers and other professionals to provide our clients which include businesses, individuals, and non-profits innovative counsel and representation in a wide range of matters.

Requirements:

• Three to Five years of Litigation Paralegal experience
• Experience with family/domestic law
• Ability to work with several attorneys on a variety of cases
• Strong organizational skills
• Microsoft Office - Word, Excel. Outlook

Responsibilities:

• Identify, collect, analyze, abstract, organize and maintain facts and documents in accordance with correct legal practice and procedure
• Prepare pleadings, draft interrogatories, and respond to requests to produce documents under the supervision of the assigned attorney
• Manage records and organize all discovery and trial data
• File pleadings, motions, documents with the court as directed by supervising attorney
• Summarize testimony and transcripts
• Obtain, analyze, and summarize medical records
• Assist in locating and preparing witnesses for trial; obtain and organize trial exhibits; and coordinate witnesses' appearance at trial
• Develop and maintain a working relationship with clients both inside and outside the firm to obtain and clarify information needed to substantiate facts, identify documents, and otherwise support legal actions
• Complete other duties, specific to the practice area of law, as assigned
