Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to pediatric patients, including infants, children, adolescents, and Adults.
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients' medical history.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed.
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, gastric lavage, specimen collection processing, and sutures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in VA.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Family Medicine.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medicine and best practices in Urgent Care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
