With 35 primary care providers in 6 clinics, we are the largest Primary Care group in Central Oregon. And as part of the Praxis Health family of clinics, our network additionally includes multiple specialty clinics as well.

 

Bend and the surrounding communities are growing rapidly, presenting the need for an additional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Cultus Lake clinic in Bend, Oregon.

• Compensation: base salary plus production
• $130,000 - $180,000+ per year

Bend, Oregon

Bend offers the very best in year-round outdoor life and recreation, and is a favorite vacation destination for many. Mt. Bachelor, 20 minutes from downtown Bend, is the premiere destination ski resort in the state of Oregon, with numerous cross country trails and snow mobile parks.

 

Summer sports include hiking, climbing at Smith Rock, fishing (lake and river), mountain biking, river sports, and over two-dozen golf courses are within a 45-minute radius. The public school system is strong, and there are private school options at all grade levels. There is a strong community college, and Oregon State University just launched the Cascades Campus, a full four-year university, also offering some graduate programs. Minimum Qualifications:

Required Qualifications & Abilities:

• Requires certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• At least 3 years Primary Care experience required  
• Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Respect for patient's confidentiality
• Compassionate and approachable
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Attend work regularly and on time

General Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
