The Department of Family Medicine & Population Health at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time Family Medicine Physician for the Warsaw Medical Arts practice.
- Warsaw Medical Arts serves a rural on the Northern Neck region of Virginia.
- The practice provides care for patients of all ages, with a focus on patients over 65 years of age, and includes opportunities for office-based procedures.
- Pediatrics and CDL exams will be part this positions responsibilities.
- As a rural site, the practice focuses on providing comprehensive care to all patients under their care.
Warsaw Medical Arts is a busy clinical site and is a teaching for School of Medicine Family Medicine M3 rotations.
Start date of July 1, 2021 with competitive salary and generous benefit package as well as ability to earn clinical bonuses.
This is a full time position.
The doctor in this position will have the opportunity to be involved in medical student teaching and departmental research projects.
Required qualifications include:
- Board certified or Board eligible in Family Medicine
- Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
- MD or DO from an accredited university
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationships
- Flexibility/adaptability
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in didactic and/or clinical teaching of medical students
- Research interests in medical education
- Family Medicine fellowship training
