Family Medicine – FQHC in Orange County, CA - Providence Healthcare Group - TX

Serve the People is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in the heart of Orange County in Santa Ana, CA. We seek a Medical Director to lead our expanding provider team along with an additional Family Medicine staff physician to deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services. Highlights include:

• Serve the People offers an array of primary health care services to the vulnerable in our region including general medicine, pediatrics, womens health, dentistry, optometry, behavioral health services, health screenings and health education.
• Our goal is to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care to all members of the community regardless of economic or health insurance barriers.
• We value professionals who are passionate about providing care to underserved populations and who are dedicated to improving patient health outcomes.
• These are outpatient practices with a manageable patient volume. We also offer flexible scheduling such as a 4-day work week.
• Reporting to the Executive Director, the Medical Director will play an integral role in the clinical and administrative leadership of our health center.
• He/she will provide direct patient care while leading our team of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Family Medicine experience, with a proven track record of leadership roles within a healthcare setting.
• The staff Family Medicine physician will work closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other healthcare professionals in delivering top-quality medical care to our community.
• Experience in outpatient primary care is preferred, but we provide an excellent setting for a new or recent graduate to thrive.
• We serve a predominantly Latino population so fluency in English and Spanish is highly desired (but not mandatory).
