Our client, a multidisciplinary community health center in Spring Valley, NY, seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team
Type: Perm
Schedule: Full Time Weekdays Monday – Friday either 8am-4pm or 9am – other schedules are available - Additionally one evening per week and 1 Saturday per month
Location: Spring Valley, NY
Summary:
The FNP will provide health treatment and care for low income and high-risk residents.
Job description:
* Provides general medical care to health center patients
* Educates patients by teaching preventative care
* Documents patients' history and treatments
* Performs medical triage
* Orders and interprets diagnostic tests
* When appropriate, refers patients to specialists
Qualifications:
* Board certification
* Active unrestricted NYS Nurse Practitioner License
* Active NY DEA Registration
* Minimum 1 year of practicing independently as a Family Nurse Practitioner
* Eligible to Work in the US
