Dewberry is looking for an experienced Family Office Accountant to work in a family office performing various financial and analytic processes for the owners of multiple businesses.

Responsibilities
Perform and review detailed account transactions
Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information.
Monitor cash flow
Review, analyze and post daily cash transactions in Excel and Quicken software
Prepare various reports for cash flow analysis.
Prepare monthly invoices and coordinate payment processing and recording transactions.
Record and analyze all financial data for multiple real estate holdings.
Review General Ledger transactions.
Perform and review detailed account analysis/reconciliations to ensure appropriate accounting for transactions and account balances.
Work with third-party property manager to assist in oversight of warehouse and tenant leasing.
Assist with bookkeeping and recordkeeping for various investment and family entities and trusts.
Assist in monitoring and analysis of taxable income and cash flow.
Support Senior Financial Analyst by assisting in various administrative and financial duties.
Required Skills & Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent experience.
3+ years of relevant experience, particularly with real estate accounting and trusts.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Must show initiative, self-motivation and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with competing priorities.
Ability to handle confidential information with tact and poise while operating with the highest level of conduct, integrity and confidentiality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and Word.
Ability to compose and present information in Excel, including writing complex formulas for analysis and presenting in professional format.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong work ethic, task-oriented, reliable, with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
