NP/PA Family Practice Opening in Kansas -Located in Ellsworth, KS.-Full Time & Permanent Position.-Schedule: 4 days/week, 7:00am - 4:00pm.-On-Call: One week night every two weeks, one weekend every 6 weeks.Medical Center is looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. Duties & Responsibilities: The role of the Advanced Practice Provider is to provide Family Practice Medicine in our Rural Health Clinics, hospital Inpatient suites and Emergency Department. This position will serve as a primary care provider for preventative care, evaluation of new complaints, routine recurring visits for chronic illnesses, inpatient care and emergencies when clinically indicated. Responsible for discriminating between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental health problems. Works to achieve positive outcome measures based on state and federal mandates and financial incentives. Experience Required: -Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.-Current state license to practice as a Physician Assistant; or current state RN license and possession of a current Nurse Practitioner Certification required.-Previous experience related to the management of inpatients and ED care preferred.
