Position Summary: The Family Support Services Senior Manager provides direct oversight of the agency’s Family Support Services program operations, to include the Brevard Behavioral Health Expansion (BBHE) grant initiative. This position serves as a liaison for complex cases and sets strategic direction in accordance with agency mission, values, goals, and objectives. This position includes supervisory review of case records and compliance with Florida Statutes as applicable, all agency policies, contract requirements, operating procedures, and applicable COA standards. This Family Support Services Senior Manager is also responsible for ensuring each BBHE team member submits required data elements and aggregates data to meet program performance measurements and participate in the National Evaluation process as directed by grant requirements, including entry into Fidelity EHR.
Technical/Functional Expectations:
- Leadership of Family Support Services: This position provides leadership and oversight of the continuum of agency prevention and diversion services; providing oversight and consultation as needed for cases.
- Monitors Program Performance/Adherence to Contract Measures: This position monitors performance in accordance with agency performance and contractual measures and provides strategic direction to produce desired outcomes.
- Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Activities: This position participates in agency quality assurance and quality improvement activities to improve performance and assess gaps and deficiencies in accordance with agency operating policies and Council on Accreditation standards.
- Fiscal Monitoring: This position engages ongoing fiscal monitoring of program's budget and services authorized for the FSS programs.
- Family Team Conferencing and Wraparound Process: This position provides leadership of the Family Team Conferencing and Wraparound process adhering to the ten principles of Wraparound.
- Other duties as required: Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

Business Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years prior Child Welfare Experience: To effectively understand the integration of various system components, statute and administrative code governing the delivery of services to at risk children and their families.
- Minimum two (2) years Leadership Experience: This is required to effectively supervise and coach staff in the prevention and diversion continuum of services.
- Valid Driver's License-Essential: This position requires a valid driver’s license to travel throughout the County.
- Computer skills (Microsoft and Web based application): This position uses Microsoft and a web-based application for daily entry of case activity and the utilization management of service authorizations.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
2. Child Welfare Certified by Florida Certification Board required.
3. MA/MS - master’s degree Counseling/Psychology or Social Work preferred.
