Fan Operations Associate Manager (FT)
Location: San Antonio, TX / Exempt

We are looking for an enthusiastic, solution-oriented Fan Operations Associate Manager to join our team! This position will help uphold and facilitate all key functions and programs within the department while supporting and implementing department standards throughout the fan experience staff. They will serve and interact with fans as well as internal contacts at all levels; independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload. This position supports all SS&E franchises, events, and contracted projects. This role can be performed 25%-50% remotely while the remainder of the time will need to be performed onsite as needed or on a seasonal basis.
What You’ll Do:
- Manages all aspects of part-time staff scheduling and attendance including reviewing attendance trends. Interprets and applies applicable policies including holding the team accountable to the attendance policy.
- Oversees and approves payroll timely and accurately for all part-time Fan Operations team members in accordance with operating practices.
- Collaborates with the Training Manager to ensure Fan Operations team training aligns to the development needs of the staff. Schedules training and development efforts for all Fan Operations staff.
- Responsible for end-to-end recruitment process for part-time positions within the Fan Operations department including identifying department part-time staffing needs, vetting applications, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Lead pre and post event staff briefings and serving as head point of contact during events to enable the team to create lasting, positive memories for fans through friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Manages Guest Services 101 event team which provides seating and ADA services, guest resolution, and surprise and delights for fans attending Frost Bank Center and Toyota Field events.
- Supervises department administrative support personnel, creates the monthly admin schedules, proofs outgoing internal communications and event briefs, and assures that all event paperwork is accurate and distributed in a timely manner.
- Participates in Fan Experience strategic and budget planning. Supports Fan Experience department programs and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned to deliver the best fan experience possible.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of managing and leading a large team
- Minimum of 4 years of scheduling and administrative experience, preferably in a customer service environment.
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience required
- Ability to maintain a consistently high energy level and enthusiasm for delivering extraordinary fan experience.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with an ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks and adapt to change.
- Must have flexible schedule availability and the ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation for reporting to work.
- Must be able to work at outdoor events and at outdoor venues.
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and work at heights as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
