About the Job
We are excited to continue to grow and expand the ways that we can help customers be smarter about life insurance and financial services through the Farmers Financial Services Agent (FSA) program.
FSAs have an opportunity to develop their own life insurance and financial services business. They can also build lasting relationships with the full-time agents (FTAs) who ask them to introduce life insurance and financial services options to current Farmers customers in their agencies.
Farmers agents have helped build Farmers into one of the most recognizable brands in the country. Using that strong brand, the existing relationships Farmers agents have with our customers, and their knowledge and experience, FSAs have a tremendous opportunity to make a big difference in the customers lives as well as their own.
Salary Range: $65000.00 - $110000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Resources and Opportunity:
- Access to 50k+ Farmers' policyholders for cross-sell
- Work with existing Agency Owners and Staff to cross-sell/upsell existing clients with Life/Securities opportunities
- District Staff support, turn-key marketing
- Access to a dedicated Case Manager, Financial Services Director and Company Life Sales Consultants
Compensation:
- FSA candidates can qualify for competitive incentives, including lucrative commissions for mutual funds, annuities and Life Insurance
- A commission split with the FSA acting as a service provider for the full-time Agent
- Many in the industry use the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) model for commission splitting

Requirements
- Licenses and Registration- Must hold a life insurance license. Series 6 or 7, Series 63 or will secure licenses upon onboarding
- At least 1 year of customer facing sales experience in the Life and Financial Services industry
- To be eligible for the Financial Services Agent program, potential candidates must first pass a background check in accordance with current Farmers Insurance guidelines, policies, and procedures. The background check will cover three (3) major areas: Financial History, State, Federal, and County Criminal History, Regulatory Actions
- Complete a panel interview with the Farmers District Office in San Diego
- Any outside appointments do not present a conflict of Interest
