We've got an exceptional opportunity for a Sales Manager to oversee and optimize the entire sales function for an industry-leading fasteners manufacturer in Alsip, Illinois. In this role, you'll lead the internal sales team, coordinate with external sales partners, expand product offerings, and enhance sales workflows to boost profitability.

The Sales Manager position offers consistent day time hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with minimal travel. You'll be paid a competitive salary, starting at $90K and based on experience, plus commissions and profit sharing. Key Duties of the Sales Manager
Sales Team Leadership
Direct and mentor the internal sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure that sales objectives are consistently achieved or surpassed.
External Partner Management
Collaborate closely with external sales partners, ensuring their objectives align with the company's goals and enhancing their performance for maximum effectiveness.
Product Line Expansion
Work hand-in-hand with product development teams to launch and expand new product offerings, ensuring successful market entry and sales growth.
Optimization of Sales Workflows
Develop and implement strategies to streamline sales operations, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing profitability.
Sales Strategy Formulation
Design and execute detailed sales strategies to meet company revenue targets and foster market growth.
Client Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Consistently monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making and enhance sales outcomes.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Coordinate closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure that goals are aligned and sales initiatives are executed seamlessly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Demonstrated experience in sales management, ideally within the fastener sector.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to achieve results through a customer-centric and data-informed approach.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales-related technology.
