FEA Engineer - ASME - Belcan

A FEA Engineer - ASME position is currently available in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a 1-year contract assignment with the possibility of extension. Simulation team needs expertise in ASME pressure vessel code. This position will fill the gaps and serve Chillers ASME needs by creating FEA process as per ASME code Sec Viii - Div 1 and 2.Requirements:*A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. *3-5 year experience in pressure vessel design using ASME code Sec Viii - Div 1 and 2.*Interested and enjoy in using hand calculations and ASME code equations.*5-7 year experience in structural simulations using Ansys.*Experienced in structures design using FEA tools. Preferred fabricated heavy structures design experience.*Experienced in designing structures against, compressor Vibrations, transportations and seismic loading.*Course work in strength of materials and Finite element analysis is preferred.Compensation:We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering an hourly rate of $85-110 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
