Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Create marketing materials, such as sell sheets and presentations, for the purpose of business development for the Division. - Plan and manage activities for TCES participation and exhibits at industry conferences; including overseeing logistics, promotions, and speaking engagements of MAXIMUS senior management. - Create and manage blog posts. - Write?and edit press releases and media alerts. - Create and edit website content. - Support public relations efforts, including working daily with PR firm on crisis management and brand awareness campaigns. - Devise and implement strategies for ?thought leadership? webinar and podcast series, including marketing efforts and content creation. - Manage social media efforts, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. - Manage interactions with analyst firms, including briefings and managing research, such as vendor briefings and inquiry calls. Minimum Requirements: - Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. - In some instances this manager may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees. - Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. - Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. - Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve problems. - Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities. - Frequently interacts with subordinate employees, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. - Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. - Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. - Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as a Digital Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand voice and visual identity across various channels, including marketing communications, campaigns, programs, blogs, social media, and website. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting compelling narratives, a keen eye for design, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
This is a remote position with the need to occasionally attend meetings and/or events in the Tyson Corners, VA / Washington DC area. The selected candidate must live in this geographical area.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation
-Develop engaging and persuasive written content for marketing communications, campaigns, blogs, social media, and website.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights to create impactful content.
Copywriting
-Craft clear, concise, and compelling copy that aligns with the brand voice and resonates with the target audience(s).
-Ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms and campaigns.
Content Strategy
-Contribute to the development of content strategies for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
-Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to enhance content relevance.
Visual Design
-Create visually stunning designs for marketing materials, digital and social media ads, ensuring a cohesive and appealing brand aesthetic.
-Utilize Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint to produce high-quality visual assets.
Brand Consistency
-Maintain and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring all content and designs align with the brand identity.
-Collaborate with the marketing team to evolve and enhance the brand as needed.
Collaboration
-Work closely with marketing, communication, and design teams to brainstorm ideas, provide creative input, and contribute to the overall creative process.
Multitasking:
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field.
-5-7 years Federal experience preferred
-Proven experience in creative writing, copywriting, and visual design for marketing purposes.
-Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.
-Strong portfolio showcasing writing samples and design projects.
-Exceptional creativity and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
