Sparks Group in collaboration with its Government Contractor partner, is searching for a proactive and analytical Proposal Pricing Analyst. As a Proposal Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful proposal submissions for our clients federal government contracting business. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing pricing models, and creating competitive pricing strategies that align with our business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze solicitations to identify pricing requirements and guidelines.
- Pricing Model Development: Create and maintain accurate pricing models, incorporating factors such as labor rates, overhead costs, material requirements, and equipment expenses.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop comprehensive pricing proposals that comply with RFP/RFQ requirements and our established estimating system.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost/price and profitability analyses to ensure optimal pricing strategies.
- Proposal Presentation: Present pricing proposals to senior management, effectively communicating the rationale and benefits of the proposed pricing.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FAR, CAS, DCAA, and solicitation requirements, for all pricing proposals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance) to gather necessary information and address pricing-related concerns.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to analyze pricing trends, identify competitor strategies, and make recommendations for pricing optimization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in proposal pricing within the federal government contracting industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of FAR and DFARS regulations, financial principles, and pricing models.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
