As a Fence Estimator / Sales Representative at Apex Fencing, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with clients, and providing accurate estimates for fencing projects. You will play a critical role in driving the growth of our company by helping customers select the best fencing solutions for their needs. Usually we have 2-5 pre book appointments daily. This is not a cold sales cycle we have hot leads and it's usually a 40% close rate.

As a Fence Estimator / Sales Representative at Apex Fencing, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with clients, and providing accurate estimates for fencing projects. You will play a critical role in driving the growth of our company by helping customers select the best fencing solutions for their needs. Usually we have 2-5 pre book appointments daily. Fence Estimator / Sales:
- Meet with potential clients to assess their fencing needs and provide professional recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and detailed project estimates, including materials, labor, and timeframes.
- Conduct pre-walkthroughs with customers, placing flags to mark the fence area and ensuring the client’s understanding of the installation process.
- Utilize GIS or our online tools to find property line apoximate locations when plot maps are not available, ensuring accurate fence placement for permits and HOA paperwork.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales and installation process.
- Close sales effectively by addressing customer concerns and providing solutions that meet their budget and aesthetic preferences.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM software.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, product offerings, and competitive landscape.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fencing or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of fencing materials, installation processes, and local regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide accurate estimates.
- Proficiency in using GIS software and CRM systems is a plus.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong desire to exceed sales targets.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.
