Job Description: Fence Installation Crew Leader
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fence Installation Crew Leader to oversee a fence installation crew. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of fence installation for your team, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Our company focuses primarily on installation of Residential Fencing including Vinyl, Wood, Chain Link, and Ornamental Iron. However, experience with other styles of fence is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work along side, lead, and motivate a team of fence installation technicians to ensure smooth operation on the jobsite.
- Communicate effectively with Operations Manager and Customers to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Plan and coordinate tasks to optimize crew productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor team members in installation techniques and best practices.
- Review work orders to ensure tools, equipment and materials are in order prior to transporting to job site.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all installations meet company standards.
- Address and resolve any unique conditions or issues that arise on the jobsite promptly and effectively. Communicate and document those issues.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and report any issues to the Operation Manager for resolution.
- Maintain company checklists and inventory usage reports.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and experience SPECIFICALLY related to fence installation with a minimum of 3 years installation experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements to safely perform and possible exposure:
Fence Installers: Repetitive and prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, twisting, lifting (up to 80 lbs) exposure to construction and cleaning chemicals, noise and dust or fumes from concrete, saws, grinders, drills, augers and other equipment, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, stepping up and down, inclement weather and temperature changes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE

Schedule:
- 10-hour shift during summer, 4 days a week (5 8-hour days during daylight limited seasons)
- Day shift
Experience:
- Fence industry specific: 3 years (Required), do not apply if you do not have field experience.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- Forklift and Skid Steer certifications a plus.
Work Location: mostly Treasure Valley, occasionally within 150 miles
