About the Job
As a Fiduciary Support Officer, you will be responsible for the coordinated delivery of processes specific to the administration of trust accounts in Wealth Management & Trust to ensure adherence to regulations and state specific statutes.Responsibilities Support the coordinated delivery of processes specific to fiduciary accounts, including but not limited to:Onboarding of new fiduciary accounts (acceptance, opening, initial review, required notice letters)Coordinating the termination and distribution process for fiduciary accounts (termination, required notice letters, distribution schedules, coordination with Successor Trustee as appropriate)Monitoring and preparation of required notice letters to qualified beneficiaries at age of majorityResponsible for completing periodic account reviews by reviewing governing instrument to ensure that appropriate ticklers and distributions are set up, appropriate parties are receiving statements, system coding is complete/accurate, and necessary documentation is on filePreparation of court accountings for guardian/conservator accountsCalculation of annual 5x5, unitrust, and total return distributionsCoordination of post-death process for deceased clients/beneficiariesReview and maintenance of Future Business FilesReview of new accounts to ensure proper forms and documentation are on fileProcessing of acceptance and termination paperwork subsequent to approval of TATCProcessing of encroachment paperwork subsequent to approval of FOCJob RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications:BA/BS degree in accounting or a related business field or equivalent work experience5 years of banking and/or wealth management experienceEmployees are expected to represent Stock Yards Bank & Trust in a professional manner to customers and outside contacts.Employees must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, consisting of the ability to write and speak effectively to others.Employees must be a productive team player, with the ability to learn, apply training and comprehend policies and procedures.Employees should also be flexible to changing working situations and able to meet deadlines as they ariseAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines and time budgetsAbility to maintain discretion, independence, and objectivityAbility to build trust and develop positive working relationships with all levels of management and staffConsistently self-motivated and dependableAbility to take ownership of assigned tasks and produce quality workStrong analytical skills with the ability to summarize information, identify trends, and reach conclusionsBenefits401(k) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer / Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsHealth Savings AccountsBank paid Life / AD& D insuranceVoluntary Life / AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
