As a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service), you'll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe and professional manner

Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systemsTravel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist in the training of lower level technicians as neededMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving record3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and toolsAdvanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of toolsStrong mechanical background knowledge of various enginesMust own tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why join us?We don't just ""talk the talk!""
