Field Systems Engineer – Electrical Systems Installation & Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:
As a Field Systems Engineer, you'll be a key player in the installation, startup, and maintenance of our advanced systems. Your duties will include:
- Control Panel Assembly: Building and testing control panels that will be deployed to field sites, ensuring top performance and reliability.
- On-Site Technical Support: Installing, wiring, and troubleshooting low-voltage electrical systems, including sensor platforms, gate operators, and active vehicle barriers.
- System Commissioning: Performing testing, calibration, and commissioning of equipment to meet customer specifications.
- Customer Training: Educating end-users on the operation of our systems to ensure smooth transitions and customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the Systems Engineering team to align project requirements and deliver exceptional service.
What We’re Looking For:
To excel in this Field Systems Engineer role, you'll bring the following skills and experience:
- Electrical Engineering Expertise: Solid background in electrical wiring, low-voltage circuits, relays, sensors, and industrial I/O.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Proven skills in identifying and resolving electrical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Reading Schematics: Ability to interpret and work from electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Safety-Conscious: Adherence to safety standards when working around electricity and jobsite hazards.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in your work.
- Communication Skills: Clear and professional interaction with team members, clients, and end-users.
- Independent and Motivated: Self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software.
- Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to support various projects.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
