Field Facilities Maintenance Technician Seattle Metropolitan Area, WA, USA ? Tacoma, WA, USA Req #11094 Thursday, October 17, 2024 Pay: $26.00 - $30.00/hr.,+quarterly bonus potential. The Field Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate according to company standards. We are looking for someone with a broad skill set in general construction trades and specific experience to respond to work orders for repair and maintenance of convenience store equipment and building. What You'll Do as a Field Facilities Maintenance Technician: + Respond to prioritized work orders via ServiceNow, following company protocols. + Diagnose mechanical issues and determine solutions by consulting blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as needed. + Continuously assess self-assigned work orders to determine the most efficient, cost-effective solutions. + Address work orders independently or coordinate third-party contractors/vendors when necessary. Repairs estimated above $300 require prior approval from the Regional Facilities Manager. + Complete special projects as assigned, which may include tasks outside your region or typical responsibilities. + Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates smoothly, building systems run efficiently, and the physical condition of facilities is maintained. + Participate in rotating on-call shifts, including after-hours and weekends. + Perform additional duties as needed. You'll be a Great Fit if You Have: + 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance. + The ability to work independently and manage service requests across multiple locations. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. + A professional attitude when interacting with Jacksons staff, contractors, vendors, and customers. + Basic computer skills. + A valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Physical Requirements: The candidate while performing the assigned duties of this job will frequently be required to perform the following physical activities: Stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, stoop, climb/balance and use their hands/fingers to handle or feel objects and controls. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Environmental conditions include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor exposure from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
