Job Overview:
We are looking for a Field HR Manager to join our HR team. The Field HR Manager will lead HR initiatives, protocols and policies within a defined operational territory related to Talent Development and Onboarding, Retention, Leadership Skill Building, Workforce Planning, Compliance and Associate Relations. One of the primary focuses will be to positively impact all aspects of the Talent Management system across all locations within their defined territory. They will do this by providing consistency in application and execution of enterprise-wide programs, by identifying and solving local HR challenges, and ensuring compliance in HR requirements.
Qualifications:
- BS or BA Degree required.
- Minimum three years of experience in Staffing, Human Resources required, relevant experience will be considered.
- Some knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance issues (deeper knowledge may be required for certain states, such as CA, MA, etc.)
- Skill in operation of variety of computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have a basic understanding of enterprise wide HRIS systems.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Must possess a high level of honesty, integrity, and ethics.
- Must be a confident communicator, (including written, and verbal skills).
- Creative, independent self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand the business operations.
- Ability to effectively manage projects to timely completion.
- Ability to effectively champion ideas, influence, and present to Leadership.
- Ability to collect, compile, and analyze information and data.
- Ability to prepare comprehensive and complex reports.
- Ability to travel as necessary (approximately 50%), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation and monitoring of enterprise programs. Programs include New Associate Onboarding, Manager Check-Ins, Predictive Analytics Retention program etc.
- Identify and design solutions to address local retention challenges
- Support the D&I efforts and encourages managers to foster an inclusive work environment.
- Coach new leaders in people management
- Support new leaders as they take on new people processes such as hiring, performance, etc.
- Partner with location leaders to ensure that associates receive and have dedicated time to complete required functional training
- Identify and propose appropriate staffing levels based on analysis of growth trends, and workforce planning tools.
- Provides staffing support for Leadership by collaborating on recruiting efforts.
- Participates in selection process for critical roles, identifying the best qualified candidates.
- Supports start up and shut down processes.
- Advises associates and management on the interpretation of human resources policies, programs, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Investigates associate complaints and works with HR Manager/ HR Director to resolve. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Legal as needed.
- Analyzes turnover, retention, LOA, workers comp, and exit interview data to determine human capital strategies for the territory.
- Analyzes recruiting and turnover trends and follows through on action needed to address.
- Regular analyzes area associate data, and scans for correct information, compensation parity (Equal Pay Act), FLSA compliance, consistent practices according to company policy, etc.
