As a Field Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the efficient functioning of a portfolio of accounts, encompassing budget management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, conducting crew training, ensuring safety protocols, and managing equipment allocation and assignments. This role demands strong leadership and proactive daily preparation to effectively manage operations.
Job Description:
- This role involves working outdoors with crews in various weather conditions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies.
- Oversee morning dispatch activities for assigned crews.
- Manage budget allocations and scheduling, collaborating with managers to optimize crew routes and hours. Adjust routes as needed due to new assignments or cancellations. Develop production plans for each property to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with crews to uphold the company's quality standards.
- Work alongside sales and Account Managers to facilitate proper setup for new jobs.
- Monitor daily crew performance including route sheet distribution and timesheet reviews.
- Anticipate and assess equipment needs, overseeing crew equipment inventory and addressing repair issues.
- Provide training, coaching, performance reviews, and recognition to crews.
- Enforce company standards such as uniform policies, fleet maintenance, equipment upkeep, and facility cleanliness.
- Orient and train Foremen and Crew members on company standards and best landscaping & safety practices.
- Prior to crew arrival, coordinate with Account Managers to address any last-minute needs or issues. Prepare necessary paperwork, route sheets, or instructions for crews. Adjust schedules based on prior day's production outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Strong management abilities.
- Dedication to delivering excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
- Capacity to effectively manage daily routes and labor resources.
- Bilingual proficiency, is a Plus
- Previous experience in Landscape Maintenance and leadership
