# Project Overview:
The Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) Project is a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facility located on the north shore of Corpus Christi Bay in Gregory, Texas. The 1,000+ acre facility started bulk early works in July 2015 as the first greenfield export facility in the United States. Bechtel has successfully and safely completed construction and it now consists of three operating Trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 15 million tons per year (MTPA), three LNG storage tanks with combined capacity of 480,000 cubic meters of LNG, 2 Jetty superstructures that can accommodate the world’s largest vessels, and dozens of associated buildings and utilities.
Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project Stage 3 (CCL3) is a new phase at the existing CCL facility and will consist of seven midscale liquefaction trains with an LNG production capacity of approximately 10 MTPA and associated infrastructure including utilities. CCL3 will perform all this work predominantly on a direct hire basis with support from only a few specialty and service subcontractors.
# Job Summary:
The Field Planner is responsible for supporting the Lead Field Planner with planning and scheduling for the jobsite; schedule development, maintenance, monitoring and recovery planning; 3-week and 90-day lookaheads; subject schedule development; and general support activities. The Field Planner will report to the Lead Field Planner for the CCL Stage 3 Project. #LI-CS1
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Understand their complete project scope, project schedule objectives, and developing / maintaining various schedule requirements to accomplish the same.
+ Planning and coordinating schedule interfaces with owners, other Bechtel project team members, vendors, and subcontractors for the assigned sections of the schedule.
+ Coordinating all activity sequences for their assigned area of project construction and/or CSU schedules so that they are fully integrated with the total project plan.
+ Continually monitoring critical path for Bechtel Management.
+ Proactively assessing and facilitating weekly progress and monthly reporting, completion forecasts, and providing solutions to mitigate schedule delays or optimize project completion.
+ Evaluating project progress against historical indicators and providing Bechtel Management with comparative analysis.
+ Responsible for implementation of scheduling and progress monitoring systems, including but not limited to milestone completion tracking, Construction progress measurement, and CSU progress measurement.
+ Implements all approved changes into appropriate Project Controls tools; supports the Trend Program with schedule analysis and changes.
+ May be required to complete schedule integration activities with existing plant interfaces.
+ Coordinating for invoice support and providing substantiation for client reviews.
+ Interface management plan coordination with client.
+ Coordinates, as needed, the baselining of schedules, checking and integrating data into tools, support risk management program, coordinating schedule impacts for scope and non-scope changes, and claims support.
+ Additional duties include maintenance and monitoring activities necessary for reporting and analysis.
+ Will be required to coordinate and set-up Project Controls tools and systems.
+ Provide other support as required.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ University/B.S degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Construction Management or related field plus 6 years of experience or 10 years of equivalent industry experience in-lieu of a degree.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Demonstrated ability to be proactive in determining project direction and communicating that direction to Project and Client management.
+ Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory, and personnel administrative functions.
+ Must have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge in Excel.
+ Advanced knowledge of standard industry automation tools used in construction planning.
+ Thorough knowledge of and demonstrated experience in directing all planning and scheduling functions in the field.
+ Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 2+ years field experience on an LNG project.
+ 5 years combined experience in planning on a major project.
+ Advanced knowledge of Primavera (P6), TeamWorks, and SetRoute.
+ Experience on an LNG construction site especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
+ Familiar with Bechtel Project Controls tools and processes.
+ Knowledge and understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes, as performed by Bechtel.
+ Knowledge and work experience on previous lump sum projects.
Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction and operational conditions. Construction site activities the successful candidate may be required to perform include, but are not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces for short periods of time. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
