About the Team
The Field Pricing Manager will play a key role on Workday's Pricing team, focusing on the field-facing activities of SaaS pricing; including deal specific support, global commercial strategy, enablement activities, instructional content creation, new product support and performance analytics. You'll be challenged to execute on both tactical and strategic initiatives; such as assisting in tier-2 deal support one minute and then introducing negotiation strategy to our global sales team the next. Cross functional partnership is key as you'll partner with stakeholders from across the organization to accomplish critical objectives.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales teams (including sales leadership) and revenue operations on deal pricing strategy during negotiation cycles
- Conduct analysis on commercial selling performance; including trend analysis, data model construction and recommendations for impactful change
- Partner with product pricing team on bringing new products to market; including influencing all aspects of the quote to cash performance
- Build informative content/presentations a part of new product and strategic initiative rollouts; and then deliver such content to wide audiences
- Participate in system testing of our quoting platform for both pricing and Order Form accuracy
- Assist in coordinating detailed technical and business requirements related to Commercial Order Form improvement with internal and external partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 + years of experience working within a SaaS Pricing organization, preferably within a "field facing" role
- 2 + years of experience identifying trends and making data driven recommendations
Other Qualifications:
- Background in creation and delivery of sales facing enablement content
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently across functional and organizational lines
- Must be a good cultural fit for Workday's high-achievement, yet fun, casual and encouraging environment

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific com ission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
