Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Field Project Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. This position provides moderately complex technical support and assistance to employees and customers via email, phone, or in-person. The position requires solid knowledge of security and low voltage systems, in addition to strong communication skills and organizational/multi-tasking capabilities to successfully support our team of technicians.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $34 to $40/hour based on experience, certifications and licenses

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Procurement) and customers to ensure site readiness for timely project delivery.
- Schedule assigned team members and subcontractors to projects.
- Ensure quality of installation (QA/QC) and customer satisfaction.
- Attend project meetings and site walks as required.
- Coordinate with the Operations Director and Procurement to ensure equipment is on hand for job completion.
- Ensure project documentation, scope of work, etc. are provided to and reviewed with technicians.
- Provide daily progress reports to customers and i-Tech management.
- Complete project closeout documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company, customer and OSHA safety requirements.
- Interface with technicians, customers, other trade contractors, subcontractors to answer questions and resolve issues.
- Document customer interactions to include inquiries, complaints, comments and actions taken to resolve.
- Work as an individual contributor to ensure project completion, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- License: Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Possession of NC LV/FA, Unlimited Electrical or General Contractor's License is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or GED. Associate's degree in electrical systems technology, engineering technology, computer science, networking or similar field preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in managing field installation teams of up to 5 personnel, as well as subcontractors, on jobsites through all phases of installation/commercial construction.
- Skills: Ability to manage in a dynamic, fast paced environment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels; problem solving; ability to make sound business decisions; initiative and the ability to foresee customer and employee needs; ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics; hands on experience with installation, programming and maintenance of video surveillance, access control and intrusion systems, networking and cabling.
- Certifications: OEM certifications such as Avigilon, LenelS2, Hanwha, etc. are preferred.
LOCATION
i-Tech is based in Clemmons, NC. You may have to drive up to 2 hours to job sites in the surrounding area. Additionally, there may be opportunities to travel out of the region (via car or plane) to support customers and/or contractors across the country; these instances are rare.
