Field Registered Nurse Assessor - Umanist Staffing LLC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

& Serve as the lead content knowledge expert concerning the review and research of provided clinical information.&

& Perform clinical case reviews and consultations

& Provide direct supervision to assigned team of nursing and/or other clinical staff

& Provide subject matter expertise related to medical necessity and level of care criteria and application thereof

& Provides education and clinical training to staff in area of expertise

& Performs other related duties as assigned.&

Enter assessment data into the UAS-NY online application and transmit, as required.&

Code the UAS assessment correctly based on training and guidelines in the UAS-NY Community Health Assessment Reference Manual.&

Review non-qualified assessments with the Clinical Quality Assurance Department.&

Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of community resources, payor requirements, and network services for target population.&

Maintain updated knowledge of the UAS-NY assessment process.&

Review consumer medical documentation and/or health referral forms, as relevant to the case.&

Document any concerns, conflicting information, other issues that surface during the evaluation process.&

Perform other duties as many be assigned by the Senior Manager or other project management.&

Minimum Requirements

& Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice is required

& Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required

& Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience

& Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred

2+ years RN experience in-home care.&

RN license in the state of New York.&

Bachelors’ Degree in health, social services, or communications.&

Ability to travel locally.&

Reliable form of transportation may include ride-sharing options.&

Preferred Qualifications

MA degree in a health, social services, or communications field preferred.&

Prior experience using the UAS-NY Community assessment tool.&

Bilingual in Spanish and English
